Memory Verse Activities

Please Sign Here Kids’ Memory Verse Activity

This memory verse activity is easy to prep and fun to do. It gets the kids up and out of their seats and you can use any verse you want with it.

All you have to do is print whatever verse you want the kids (or yourself) to memorize on a piece of paper. Then, the kids go around the room and read the verse to other kids (and adults). After they read the verse, the person they read it to signs the paper.

If there are children who don’t read yet, don’t read well or are just uncomfortable reading aloud, they can ask others to read the verse to them and get the person’s signature.

The idea is once the kids’ papers fill up they will have read and heard the verse many times, helping them to memorize it. This is one of our all time favorite activities. We do it about once a month and the kids aren’t tired of it yet, so that’s saying something. Go ahead and give it a try and see how your kids like it!

    1. Thank you! I learn best when I am moving, so I try to teach that way as well.
