Four Songs that are helping me Find my True Worth in Christ

Four Songs that are helping me Find my True Worth in Christ

Music has a way of touching even the most hardened soul. As I’ve traveled down the road to finding my true worth in Christ, these songs have cracked the hardened edges of my heart and found their way in to help heal the pain there. I wanted to share them with you, so you could have the same experience.

You Say by Lauren Daigle

This one is a relatively new one, but it is quickly becoming an anthem for me. I know that truth of what God says about me is the only place I will find my worth. Her song is about precisely that.

Tell Your Heart to Beat Again by Danny Gokey

The idea that you can “come alive again” and be who the Lord made you to be is an extremely freeing notion and one that washes over me as I listen to this sweet song.

Known by Tauren Wells

God knows me, all of me, yet He loves me anyway! His “hard truth and ridiculous grace” are truly awe-inspiring. There is an awesome Bible reading plan that goes along with this song on You Version. It was also written by Tauren Wells and is called Known.

Flawless by Mercy Me

“No matter the bumps, no matter the bruises, no matter the scars, still the truth is, the cross has made…you flawless!” I don’t think I can add anything to that thought, because it sums up why this song teaches me my worth–I am only worthy because of the cross, but because of the cross I am completely flawless-a truly astounding thought!

Are there any songs that have encouraged you to feel your worth in Christ? Please share them in the comments.
